Welcome to the new Ocean Art Idea – Paint Pouring Abstract Art tutorial. This time I’m in the aqua mood and I’m going to create an ocean splash painting. And for this creative abstract art idea, I’m going to go for a color split base, color palette with primarily blue and turquoise colors and with a few more warm vibrant colors for contrast and some beautiful accents. In this fluid art lesson I’m working on a twelve by sixteen inches cradled wood panel. This is a commission painting and it’s inspired by one of the ocean paintings I did in the past but this one’s going to be a different size, and different layout. 

“Joy Splash” is a secret message for this Acrylic Pour Painting, and I’m going to start by pouring the color split base, the bottom one is going to be phthalo blue, and the top one is going to be titanium white.

I love these beautiful iridescent colors: gold and turquoise. They are just stunning! They makes a beautiful focal point in this pour painting, plus it separates flows from each other, giving both of them a lot more definition. So definitely worked out amazing. I really like the pops of orange and magenta, because the blue color, especially, dark deep blue like I used for my base, it’s very peaceful, calming, and quite a heavy color, and adding those vibrant pops really bring a lot more life and energy and movement into this abstract ocean painting.
