Violet and Gold Floral Design - So Cool! Season Art Idea | Fluid Art
Welcome to a new Flower Painting - Acrylic Pouring Abstract Art video tutorial. This time I want to work on a rich violet base, so I prepared a couple violets. As always I like to do a multi-color base for pour painting in a similar color palette, and on top of that base, I want to create a beautiful dancing flow resembling an orchid flower.
In this fluid art video, I'm working on a pretty big canvas. It's 20 by 24 inches. "Serenity" is a secret message for this purple flow painting. I think this termless meaning really fits with the energy of violet and purple colors. So, the main color for this fluid acrylic painting is dark Winsor violet.

Something about this color is that it dries looking almost black. And to make a nice company for it, I have prepared a few lighter violets. Cobalt violet and oriental violet, this one is even lighter and a little bit reddish.
For the orchids, I'm going for diagonal composition in this pour painting. I'm going to add white, then on top of white I want to have some gold, and the next color is copper, and after that some permanent magenta. And on top of the magenta, I decided to add a little bit of yellow, and where this yellow overmixes with magenta it will give me a very pretty orange.
Let's see how such an abstract art idea turns out. And without further ado let's get started.
And here this floral painting is all done and finished. I finished it with a layer of glossy varnish. And this abstract painting turned out so dreamy, beautiful and quite moving at the same time. I especially love how the multi-color base turned out. You can see the variety of different violet shades in this acrylic painting. And there's not a lot of color contrast between the colors in my base. They're pretty close to each other but there is a little bit of difference, and that creates just a lot of movement and depth in this flower painting created with fluid acrylics.
