Stunning Fluid Art Tutorial - Breaking Through The Limits - 3D Art

Welcome to new Fiery 3D Acrylic Pouring - Abstract Art tutorial. This time, I want to create a fluid acrylic painting full of the energy of one of the most vibrant and beautiful color combinations! So meet black, white, red, and gold. And for pouring technique, I want to expand a little bit on the "Breaking through the limits" series.

So in all my previous pour paintings I have been using the ring to create a 3D look of flow going through the ring, but in this flow painting tutorial, I want to create not one flow but three, and all of them will be dancing around this ring.

Acrylic Pouring RECIPE used for today’s flow art painting:

Acrylic paint is mixed with water only to a fluid consistency. I add approximately 30-50% of water to my colors. There is no exact % or proportion because this ratio depends on initial paint viscosity, which significantly varies from brand to brand and even from color to color.

Resin Finish Online Course

"Daring Hearts" is a secret message for this abstract painting with 3D effect. So for the base, I have mixed black color - mars black with some red-violet and carmine red, so this is not pure black. It's going to dry pretty much like black but where it's going to overmix with white, it's going to have that little burgundy dark red shade. So, this is going to be a solid color base, not multicolored this time. And I'm just going to use my spatula to move the paint around. I'm working on a large panel, this is a 20 by 20 inches cradled wood panel.

Let's see how this fluid art idea turns out and without further ado, let's get started.

I have made some painting touch-ups: tidy up the ring and some of the sections where flows touch the ring.

TIP: When you're doing touch-ups try to match the movement and lines of the initial flow. And of course, you can do touch-ups not only to fix something in a painting but also to enhance it, to maybe add more details, create some nice accents and just modify it however your heart desires.

I covered this abstract painting with a layer of epoxy resin finish and it really looks so good with it. It really makes all the colors pop, especially, those metallics, the gold, and copper that's all throughout the painting.

I hope you enjoyed this acrylic painting tutorial and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
