Welcome to the new Double Split - Abstract Art Acrylic Pouring video tutorial. In this fluid art lesson, let's try to change things up for color split base painting. Usually, when I use such composition I would position the flow along the border of the color split, but this time let's try to position it across and see how that creative flow painting idea turns out.

"Devotion" is a secret message for this pour painting. I want to break this 16 by 16 inches cradled wood panel into three sections. I want to have the red-violet color on the outer parts, and the pinkish color, I will touch base about it later, inside.

This acrylic pour painting is all done and finished. I covered it with a layer of epoxy resin, so you can see this beautiful shine and how the colors really pop. I think there's something just really mesmerizing and balancing in a combination of strong sharp lines and all these wispy, curvy, elegant blowouts. I also really love that I have a very subtle metallic shine in a couple of sections. And my favorite part is the violet section, it really pops and there's a beautiful contrast. Definitely a very interesting composition idea for acrylic pour painting.
