AESTHETIC Blue and Fluid GOLD

Fluid Painting

Acrylic Pouring Tutorial by Olga Soby

WOW!!!!😱 Abstract Acrylic Pouring 💙

Hello, my creative friends! In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to create AESTHETIC Blue and Fluid GOLD Fluid Painting on a multi-color base. So it’s not going to be a solid color negative space it’s going to be multi-color base with gorgeous turquoise and blue colors. And I just love this color combination, and style, and all the movement. All of my acrylic colors are mixed with water only.

Do I have a plan when I’m adding the colors today? Yes and no. I’m sort of allowing myself to improvise, but at the same time, I want a little darker colors closer to the bottom and lighter to the top. But when I’m gonna be over mixing it, it might change a lot.

Acrylic Pouring RECIPE used for today’s flow art painting:

Acrylic paint is mixed with water only to a fluid consistency. I add approximately 30-50% of water to my colors. There is no exact % or proportion because this ratio depends on initial paint viscosity, which significantly varies from brand to brand and even from color to color.

I want to try something new today. I’m gonna add some splashes of golden drops around flows. So I have one tiny really cute cup and a fan brush! Fan brushes are pretty cool if you want to add some droplets. And of course, there are many ways to add droplets like this. You can use even an old toothbrush, but I prefer these fan brushes. Golden droplets look especially good on a darker background because they stand out a lot better.

So when you’re working on a larger painting. It always helps to look from above, because it will give you a much better perspective on your composition than when you’re just looking from the side. You can also take a picture of course, but I like to take a stepladder and just climb on it and take a look and see which areas if there is anything I want to change or add.

I love this multi-color base and the explosive energy and expression of this piece. Honestly, the multi-color base is a hit for me. And I like how little splashes of gold dried really nicely. And I think they make this whole composition even more dynamic because they give a sort of extra movement to these golden splashes.

I hope you enjoyed the process and looking forward to hearing from you! Happy creating!
